Fernando Jones is a world-class American Bluesman, educator and songwriter born to loving Mississippi parents on the Southside of Chicago in Bronzeville. He performs original compositions across the world in festivals, classrooms (elementary to college), night clubs and at private events.

Inspired by his older brothers, Foree, Marvin and Greg, Jones, the baby of the family, taught himself how to play guitar when he was just four years old, and has been playing from then to now. Fernando Jones & My Band! (his band) is a sharp dressed, raw guitar driven power trio: An uncle, a nephew and a Godson. Their sound [is] full, sexy, original.

He is the "go-to-guy" for all things Chicago Blues from performing at festivals to lecturing at universities to acting in plays to teaching children. Click here for the full bio.

"Fernando is one in a million trying to get to the bottom of the barrel of the Blues.”

- Buddy Guy
